🌬️ Guild Wars 2 How Long To Level 80
In general, GW2 is all about the level 80 experience. The level cap never increased, so they kept making new content for level 80 players. Given the amount of leveling tomes the game throws at B2P accounts, it's clear that they envision the proper leveling experience to only have to be done once.
Apparently a French gamer going by the name Surfeuze has become the first player to reach level 80 — which is the highest level you can achieve in "Guild Wars 2." According to the Massively blog
[Question] Currently my "record" (I haven't tried this in a speed run fashion, but I have done it 5-6 times) is ~14 hours from 0-80. From my experience, the fastest way of leveling without a doubt is killing neutral mobs. (Clarification: these are the mobs whose names are yellow, and will not attack you until you attack them.
There is no one that will say ok you are now lvl 80 and this is your goal. Your goal with GW2 is what YOU make it to be. There are tons of things to do, some are more needy others are just your goals, both short and long term. This and more is what you need to deal with when you boost.
For an upper estimate it took me 134 hours and 39 minutes to get my thief to level 80, purely through open world map completion and story and with time spent sorting out the bank, chatting etc. but no significant periods just going afk.
A few days to a few weeks. Depending on how much you play and how much you like to explore. Thats good, its best to level up your first character to 80 normally so you can learn how the game works and such! That's a good way to think about it. Don't use them for your first character.
There is one way to get you to level 80 in the blink of an eye, the Black Lion Instant Level 80 Ticket. However I do not recommend this. The idea behind the leveling is to get used to your character, the game, the basic mechanics and your environment. If you feel bored of that, you either have chosen the wrong class or game.
The level 80 boost is worth it for any character that is not the first character you play to 80, Most people recommend playing your first char to 80 normally, but how "worth it" it is to skip this is highly subjective. Personally the only value I see in it is to clear the shared inventory slot up to be able to be used for more important things :)
Guild Wars 2 Discussion. Increasing level cap. So I was wondering if we should increase the lvl cap to 100 with the next expansion. In my opinion always being lvl 80 is very boring and having to level up again at 80 can be fun I think (in form of elite zones e.g).Also armor should either be adjusted or newly crafted.
There is also some packages I believe where Level 80 Booster where one item among other, like in a starter pack or some thing. Can't find anything on GW2 wiki about which package it could be or if I just remember it incorrectly.
If you have a guild that runs t1 fractals, you can see if they're willing to take you along as well. The game will scale you to level 80, even though you will be a lot less effective than an actual level 80 character. For most guild groups running t1, it shouldn't be an issue as long as they're aware that you're sub level 80.
362. Posted May 6, 2018. WvW upscales your character to 80, but while in theory you can join in at any level, often you're using gear that only has 1-2 stats per item vs. 3 or 4, so you'll technically be below expected performance. Also, you won't have the trait lines at your beck and call (unless I overlooked something).
